By 2030, the work amount on decommissioning of nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities could double. Such large-scale projects require qualified personnel with basic specialized education.

There is a cooperation agreement between Tomsk Polytechnic University and the decommissioning integrator aimed at joint development of technologies and methodological approaches in the field of decommissioning and waste management.
Also the integrator for decommissioning of nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities and RAW management is a partner for the ‘Intelligent Energy Systems’ Advanced Engineering School.
