The Company performs work under the federal nuclear and radiation safety program aimed at bringing nuclear legacy facilities to a safe condition. We are engaged in decommissioning of nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities, RAW management, including final waste containment and territory remediation.
In 2021, TVEL JSC, on the basis of which the decommissioning integrator was created, was appointed as the CIS Base Organization for spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste management and decommissioning of nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities. The key objective of the CIS Base Organization’s activities is to assist the Commonwealth countries in the integrated solution of tasks in the field of SNF and RAW management, decommissioning of nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities and implementation of other projects at nuclear facilities.
